How do I use this website to make an offer?
Step 1:
Select “Partner” on the navigation bar.

It will bring you to this box where you can choose to propose an idea for partnership with the UN to address global issues.

Step 2:
Start by filling out your organisation’s interests.

When you click on a field such as disasters, a screen will pop up so that you can make selections based on your organisation’s interests.

You can also select global issues, regions/countries and UN organisations of interest to your organisation.
Step 3:
Check the box(es) that best describe your organisation’s interests in partnership.
Tip! Each option is explained in the ‘Tell me more’ section beside it.

Step 4:
Give your proposal a brief title. Describe your project idea more fully in the description section. Give an approximate time frame for the project in the timing section.

Step 5:
Documents, web pages, online videos, and images can be shared as further information.

Step 6:
Choose the language in which you prefer to communicate.

Step 7:
Enter your contact details. Please note that these will not be made available to the public and are for UN use only. Then click “Next” to move onto the second page of the form.

Step 8:
At the top of the next page of the form, please indicate the sector in which your organisation operates. It can be of strategic importance to UN personnel to have this information as they consider partnership.

Step 9:
It is also helpful for the UN to have more specific information about your core competencies. For example, your business sector may be “Telecommunications and IT” while your core competencies may be satellite connectivity, or computer hardware, etc.

Step 10:
Please indicate your annual turnover, as this gives a sense of scale to the potential partnership you might form with the UN.

Step 11:
Please describe any networks you belong to regarding Corporate Social Responsibility / Corporate Citizenship.
A sustainability report is not essential for a partnership with the UN but, if you have one, you are welcome to include its link here, as reference.

Step 12:
Please describe the goals your organisation is hoping to achieve through this partnership as well as any recognition you hope to receive for your partnership with the UN. Knowing expectations in advance is crucial for successful partnerships.
