Invitation to the Preview Version
You are invited to preview the coming UN & Business Partnerships website.
The United Nations is soon to launch a website to help match its partnerships with the private sector. You are welcome to preview this site as it approaches completion. You may have a few questions.
How much is complete?
Most is, but some aspects remain at draft stage. As a preview visitor, your feedback is welcome as it is completed.
Is all of it real?
As we await input of data from all parties, we have had to use dummy data to test the site. These sections are clearly marked as such. The rest is indeed real.
How does the site ‘behave’? Is it stable?
The site may be unavailable, at times, when our developers perform upgrades.
Will this version of the site store what I enter?
Yes.
Why is some of it in Latin?
It is a convention, when building websites, to put “placeholder” text in areas where, as yet, the finalised text has not been submitted. This allows the developers, and the testers, to see that things work. The convention is called “Lorem Ipsum”. We have used it in a variety of places in our preview site.
