Protecting refugees and internally displaced people from malaria

  • Overview

    Summary

We have joined the Every Women Every Child Initiative and are joining Nothing But Nets and The Million Nets Pledge by issuing a matching grant, to double the amount of nets, providing up to half a million bed nets to be used in their important efforts to protect refugees and families displaced by violence from malaria. Today there are more than 50 million refugees around the world, and 60% of them live in areas where malaria is transmitted.
