Summary

The DESIGN 21 International Competition was launched in 1995 by UNESCO and the Felissimo Corporation (Japan) for the purpose of discovering and promoting young talent from all corners of the world, while encouraging a spirit of understanding and sharing among young creators from different cultures.

The DESIGN 21 International Competition aims to stimulate and promote the creative force of designers who will shape our future. It encourages young designers to use their art to create a new lifestyle and to improve the quality of self-expression and communication for others. Numerous designers from all regions of the world have already been awarded prizes in the first four competitions and their work is being promoted internationally through exhibitions and fashion shows.
