    To mitigate climate change by providing clean energy to the public for the betterment of society and the environment.

    Project objectives

    With 7 newly developed clean energy gas stations, Bionas has targeted 1000 gas stations at the end of 2014 to cater the demands of over 3.0 Million jeepneys and other public transports in the Philippines.
    The approval from the Department of Energy, Philippines for Permanent Registration and Fuel Additive Registration for B30 Bio-Diesel and M30 Bio-Petrol (Gasoline) has changed the public’s perspective towards the alternative and clean energy. They have requested to test the products and finally used them for cleaner fuel with emission reduction of over 90% and savings on daily oil consumption up to 20%.

    Current progress

    The project started with 25,000 jeepney drivers in Manila, Rizal Province and Bohol Province.
    Debit cards issued by RCBC Bank were provided to the drivers to purchase B30 Bio-Diesel (B30).
    They receive a discount of 2 Pesos per liter instantly and another 2 Pesos credited into their account every time they use the Debit Card to purchase B30.
    A Jeepney driver purchase 20 liters of diesel every day. With 4 pesos per liter discounts and savings, they receive 2,400 pesos a month from Bionas that have improved their economies and transform their lives and their families.
    By using B30, they enjoy cleaner fuel with emission reduction over 90% and savings on daily oil consumption up to 20%.
    7 clean energy gas stations operating now to reach the target of 1000 at the end of 2014.
