    Coral reef protection and ecological sustainability.

    Project objectives

    Control of depletion of coral reefs and coastal area erosion. Protection of thousands of species connected with this vast living entity that receive nourishment and protection. The coastal peoples who populate these island regions to protect, and develop their indigenous habitats.

    Beneficiaries

    Coral reefs, animals, fish, coastal areas, indigenous people who use these natural ecological -sytems, and others involved with creating green and thriving coastal regions.

    Current progress

    WGDESIGN created an app that monitors temperature data around coral reef areas, the forecasts a probability of temperature in region going above a certain warning temp. Alerting biologists and others to the need to watch and control possible bleaching activity along the reefs.
