Digital Hospital Innovation to support countries in delivering on SDG 3: Target 3.8 and Empowering Locals in Countries to Access Health Resources On Demand

  • Overview

    Vision / description

Support the SDGs agenda in achieving universal health coverage across emerging countries through technology. Create an end-to-end, one-stop-shop covering a wide variety of healthcare services. These services are complementary to traditional healthcare services, allowing for even better health outcomes in each country. To illustrate the benefits of such a system, think of a medical professional in Africa in need of validating test results for an illness never encountered before. Should such a professional have the opportunity to receive a second opinion from a peer in a neighboring or overseas country, he or she will have the ability to do more in less time, enabling other institutions to do more with fewer resources. Ultimately, the patient would benefit from cross-validated results.

    Project objectives

Partnering with the UN  in order to implement the digital hospital in countries or through the vertical angle of universal health coverage is a key aspect of our project. We are now participating in government level discussions for agreements. We would love to have the following UN agencies as official partners for our solution for UHC on issues such as finance, for expertise, and for properly enforcing SGD3:

World Bank Group (WBG), International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), International Finance Corporation (IFC), International Development Association (IDA), World Health Organization (WHO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)

Urban citizens and families in emerging countries.

    Current progress

The platform is already developed and we are now focused on market penetration.
