Iges ECO Transport project - Ghana ( air quality improvement co benefit )

  • Overview

    Vision / description

The projects provides the worlds most advanced scalable and replicable Transport MRV and emission reduction projects in transportation – reducing both transport Co2 – and PM (all species incl pm2.5 /pm10 ) NOX / SOX at point of combustion through combustion efficiency improvements – see AMS III BC

    Project objectives

The key objectives are a transformational change to combustion efficiency in transportation where fuels are oxidised, the goals will be to reduce transport CO2 by 20-50%, and co benefits of air quality improvement
The projects will include economic analysis of pollutant reduction
The projects are designed for both CDM & NAMA
