National Robotics Club

National Robotics Club

  • Overview

    Vision / description

    To build an organic platform which connects innovators, enthusiasts, academia, civil society and industrial fraternities and brings social, scientific, technological, business and policy innovations to relevant stakeholders to make the world a sustainable and a better place to live and thrive.

    National Robo Clubs is a Non-Profit Initiative of Academy of Robotics Pvt. Ltd., which aims to:
    (1) Escalate emerging technologies to the levels of facilitating the innovations civic societies and industries require;
    (2) Create a new generation of youth which identifies employment, self-employment and social empowerment opportunities and becomes the leader the world requires today;
    (3) Create effective and relevant opportunities of corporate social responsibilities which take the most sophisticated innovations to the most underprivileged people who might be positively impacted by the innovations.

    We would like to partner with the UN in order to bring more like-minded partners for long term implementation.

    We aim to partner with
    1) UNESCO: For All Activities Pertaining to Youth, Skill Development and Sustainable Development which form the soul of the entire initiative. Through this partnership, we are looking for a better access to your ESD Initiatives and the Partners you currently have for those initiatives, whom we can approach within a moderated environment for raising support for our initiatives. We do have several creative Flagship Initiatives planned which would require your direct recognition and support.

    2) UNIDO. Our Initiatives create new avenues for Corporate Social Responsibilities as an investment for looking towards new Corporate Products and Solutions from different companies, and we are looking for an access to this platform for raising the required support, which also endorses our intention to support the UN Sustainable Development Goal 17.

    3. UNDP. Our initiatives in Rural and Remote Areas, primarily involving a Chain of Schools require recognition for better reach and availing more financing opportunities for successfully running the schools, for which we believe UNDP could be our supporter.

    4. UNOPS. In the initial years, the Programme is going to be quite capital intensive, and for the purpose, we require supporters and well-wishers who can recognize our Project and respond to our requests for any support.

    Project objectives

    For the Purpose, The Initiative aims to build:
    (1) A network of Incubation, Innovation and Development Labs within the campuses of
    interested educational institutions;
    (2) A chain of schools in collaboration with relevant non-profits in remote areas which track the growth of knowledge and creativity in a child and when the child attains college-going age, connect him/her to a partner Institution which also possesses the labs developed in (1);
    (3) Channels of bringing all the social and corporate innovations from these schools and college-based labs to the general public for a dual purpose of significant empowerment of the innovators as well as sourcing the innovations for the welfare of the target communities; and
    (4) Create a platform which empowers auxiliary self-employment opportunities from the fields of Science, Technology, Business, Arts and Policymaking, by means of more opportunities for rendering their services as well as sharing their insights and expertise, to be collated in our Intelligence Unit and an Accompanying Magazine for a wide clientele and customer base.
