Overview
Access to a toilet is a human right that half of the world’s population lives without every day. That’s 3.8 billion people. Investment in toilets is key to supporting a healthy environment, women’s empowerment, global education and stronger economies. To achieve universal toilet access by 2030 we need to quadruple for water and sanitation.
The Challenge:
Causes like education, food, water, climate change, conflict and poverty get far more attention and Investment – they’re seen to be “sexier” and more “Interesting”. In developed countries, having a toilet is taken for granted – which means people forget that most people don’t actually have one.
Access to toilets is key to fighting Inequality and ending poverty.
Project objectivesA creative campaign which makes people think about the value of toilets. Taking access to toilets a cause that they can connect to. Something which forces them to pay attention and demand business, NGO’s and Governments to Invest more into the cause.
